Stake All Integrated Marking Whisker and Plastic Stake--Suggested Use

Turf _Tips, Product_Review

A prospective customer asks, "I some questions about your stake all integrated marking whisker and plastic stake. I was wondering if they came in any different sizes besides 6 in? Also are they reusable."

Thanks for your inquiry on Stake All integrated whisker and plastic stake.

The unit is basically designed for one a one-time use. The hard plastic stake will last indefinitely while the marking whisker will fade in color over time due the UV exposure.

The lip that holds the marking whisker is not that durable where if you pulled on the whiskers you would likely break the lip and leave the stake in the ground. A ½” diameter rod is used to drive the plastic stake into the turf/ground. I would not recommend directly hammering the stake into the ground as this lip would not likely survive multiple hammer contacts. The unit could be pulled out of the ground with a clamping tool, however I suspect the plastic body would likely crack given two much force.

The marking whiskers are a standard 6” in length but can be easily trimmed to a shorter length (e.g., to the height of the grass) with a standard hand clipper/side cutting tool.

We’ve had over 20 customers representing over 150 sets of 5 per package Stake Alls. We’ve not received one negative comment on the operational use or durability of this product.

Right now we have special package promotions for the Stake Alls (set of 5 packages, 25 Stake Alls) with the Standup or Hand Driver tool. Also when purchasing the Stake Alls in set of 3 or 5 packages (5 Stall Alls per package) you receive a volume discount.
