Baseball/Softball Mound Logos: Low Cost, BIG Impact

Fields are and always have been a source of pride for each team. The way the field is displayed, on the other hand, continues to evolve. Fields turned into stadiums. The grass went from whatever was grown locally, to perfectly curated specialty seed blends. The dirt in the infields and warning tracks began to be manufactured and imported as well. Teams began painting their logos on the grass behind home plate, which led to league and corporate sponsor logos down the baselines. Now we are seeing logos being chalked or painted on the back of the mound. These logos look great on TV and for promotional pictures but were only used at the highest levels at inception. They typically aren’t in a visible location for fan purposes. Now that every level of team promotion has extended to social media and drone footage can be captured at a reasonable cost, these cheap and easy stencils are much more common. Images, which are typically between 18 inches to 2 feet can easily be applied and maintained. The cost is typically less than $100 dollars for a stencil that will last forever. The stencils can also be used to apply the logo on pavement such as sidewalks and parking lots. Email us your team logo and we can work up a quote for you!

Best Practices

  • Keep your logo simple, something like a silhouette or letter works and looks best at this size
  • 1 color looks best!
  • Understand that application and upkeep of the logo will be frequent as opposed to stencils painted on grass
